Financial Statement 2009 – Please find copy attached to newsletter. A parish finance committee is in the process of being formed for our parish. Thank you to the counters for their time and help and to those who distributed the remaining offertory boxes.

Achonry Lourdes Fund – Thank you to all who contributed to the church gate collection last week-end also to the collectors. €270 was collected in Carracastle and € 230 in Rooskey.

Charlestown Athletic FC - registration for all teams U10 - U18 including U12 & U14 girls in the CBD complex, Charlestown on the following: Sun Mar 7th 6.00-8.00pm & Sat Mar 13th 4.30-5.30pm. Registration fees remain as were last season - €70/player and €130 for family (2 or more players). Parents & players to attend & sign relevant forms. Those registering with the club for the first time must bring a long form original birth certificate or passport.As registrations are now on-line with the FAI, registrations will only be conducted on the above dates.The club are seeking females to assist with U12 and U14 girls teams.

Soogroo Children’s Arts Festival. RTE personality Don Conroy will hold an Art workshop and will launch the Soogroo Children’s Arts Festival in the Gateway Hotel, Swinford on Sun Mar 28 th . RTE’s Ireland’s Got Talent star Emma O’Sullivan will hold a week of Sean Nos Dancing workshops in the Arts Centre, Charlestown on Mon Mar 29 th and a week of Bodhran workshops with Peter Crann will start on Mon April 5 th, pre-booking is essential for all events.
