First Friday home visits this week, as usual.

Peter's Pence Collection this weekend. It is your Gift, from the Faithful, to the Pope in connection with the the solemn feast of Sts. Peter & Paul- on Mon. 29th, patrons of Rome. It enables the Pope to give relief aid when disasters happen, his concern to relieve suffering.

Please tell people in London area about Fr. Peyton's Anniversary Mass & Rosary to take place in St. Joseph's Church, Wembley, on Sun. 19 July at 4pm. Celebrant- Fr. Steve Gibson, Holy Cross Order, who has come recently to Fr. Peyton Centre, Attymass. From Indiana, near Chicago, it was Fr. Steve who gave us our retreat last week at St. Angela's College, Lough Gill. Fr. Steve was ordained in Uganda, 6'5'' tall, gifted with a great sense of humour, anecdotes, stories, plays guitar, has vast experience from dealing with young people-
30 years at their retreat house serving Notre Dame University, run by The Holy Cross Order.

Parish Pastoral Council By this Sunday eve we will complete the process whereby you fill the Nomination Forms & kindly put yours in the Box at the Church door. The leaflet to explain with a Nomination Form is available to people- from Secondary School age upwards- who did not receive them last Sunday. We ask you put forward names of people you think are interested in the Life of the Parish, concerned for the on-going faith development of parishioners, who have a care for the future of the parish. Important that as many people as possible do this; to give 3 names, of a woman, a man, & a person under 30. At the end of Mass we will distribute the leaflets/Nomimation Forms, with biros, so that you can complete your nominations & put into Box, which will be there until this Sunday eve.

Baptisms We will welcome in the Sacrament next Sunday, at Rooskey Church, Eila Grace Burns, first child to Brigid & Brian Burns, living in Jersey. Brigid is daughter of Josie & the late Martin Duffy, Creggane.
We welcomed in the Sacrament this Sat. Sadhbh Johanna Brady, born 10th April, second child to Teresa (Grady) & Damian Brady, who were married here 1 July 2005; Conall their first child. Teresa is daughter of the late Henry & Teresa Grady, of Castleduff & Knock.
We will welcome in the Sacrament this Sunday Liam Christopher Boland, born 20th April, second child to Marjorie & Pat Boland, of Botuney & Dublin. Victoria Angela- their first child

Year of St. Paul will conclude at the Basilica of St. Paul Outside the Walls, Rome on Monday, Feast of Sts. Peter & Paul. Paul is a person who fell 'hopelessly' in love with the crucified & risen Christ. The experience marked everything he did from then on. This is the deepest vocation of the Christian, for people young & old.

Altar Flowers Our appreciation to the ladies on the Rota who bring & do the flowers in Carracastle Church. In particular, this week, all are local/ native flowers. If you have flowers to give please contact person(s) next on Rota, or Fr. Joe, or leave into Church by Friday eve.

Fife & Drum Band will play next Sunday for the Connacht Final of Ladies Senior Football in Charlestown, Mayo V Galway. The time is to be confirmed. Important to have a full line-out.

Seisiun na nOg . Comhaltas Ceoltoiri Eireann Seisiun na nOg this weekend, Sunday 28th, in Kilmovee Community Centre. This final seisiun for all age groups before summer break will be at 2pm. Raffle with lots of prizes. So come, join in a couple of hours fun, 'ceol agus craic'.
