School Concerts - Well done to Scoil Iosa pupils, principal, teachers and to Mrs Egan & Mrs Niland for the concerts on Monday & Wednesday last. It was clear that a lot of effort was put in by everyone involved which made them most enjoyable for all who attended. 3rd & 4th class will bring their Christmas play 'Baboushka' to Carracastle Church on Sat. Keep fit in the Community Centre will take place on wed 16th 8pm to 9pm. This will be the last one this year. Hopefully it will continue in the new year. Indoor Soccer there will be no more indoor soccer in the Centre untill the new year. Christmas Party & Disco for all young people will take place in the Community Centre on Sunday next Dec. 20th from 3 – 6pm, adm. €5, Santa will arrvive at 4pm, music by Joe Dooney, proceeds towards the indoor & outdoor soccer, raffle on the day. In order to run it successfully help and donations will be required and would be much appreciated. Tea will be served for adults. Last year was a huge success so please come along and enjoy a fun evening. Parent/Carer & Toddler Group meet every Thurs. 10.30-12.30 in the after school. Citizens Information Centre .The next outreach of the Citizen’s Information Centre in Cosgallen CDP, Charlestown will be held on Wednesday January 13th 2010 from 9.45am to 11.30am.
