Parish Pastoral Council
meeting in Rooskey Church on Wed. evening following advent prayer.

Monday evening Mass:
Please note that the Mass on Monday evening for The Immaculate Conception will be at 7pm.

Scoil Iosa Christmas Concert:
Pupils from 1st class to 6th class will be on Mon. night Dec. 7th at 8pm in the school. Juniors and seniors will be doing their concert on Wed. 9th at 2pm in the school. Your support will be greatly appreciated.

Sale of Work
in Carracastle Community Centre on Sun. 13/12/09 between 2 & 4pm. Anyone who wishes to donate cakes, books, toys etc. please leave in at community centre any day Mon. - Fri. between 10am & 12 noon and all day Sat. All monies raised from sale of work will go towards carracastle sportsfield. Further details from 087-9435036.

Fri Dec. 11th. Members invited to Charlestown Foróige Disco. No bus provided. Parents to take members there and home.

Carracastle Community Dinner Dance
will be held in Community Centre on Fri. night 18th Dec. @ 8.30pm. Music by Pats Country Roadshow. Tickets €20 available from any member of the Community Council or from Davys.

Carols & Readings
for the Season of Advent in the Cathedral of the Annunciation & St. Nathy on Tues. Dec. 15th @ 8pm. Admission: Adults €5; children & primary school students free. All proceeds go to the local branch of the St. Vincent de Paul Society. All welcome.

The AGM of Caiseal Gaels Hurling Club
will take place in Carracastle Community Centre on Wednesday 9th December 2009 at 8pm. All parents are invited to attend.

Keep Fit
in the Community Centre on Wednesdays from 8-9pm with Mary Doherty

Parent/Carer & Toddler Group
meet every Thurs. 10.30-12.30 in the After School

Christmas Youth Retreat

Christmas Bingo
in the Royal Theatre, Castlebar on Sun. Dec. 13th @ 3.00pm in support of Western Care Association. €10,000 in prizes on lines, corners, goalposts and full houses on all games. €1,000 flyer & €2,000 Jackpot games plus loads of give-aways. The next outreach session of Citizens Information will be held at North West Roscommon CDP Ltd on 9 December from 10am to 12.45pm at Market Street, Ballaghaderreen.

An Internet Cafe for over 50s is held in Ballaghaderreen Parish Hall on Friday mornings from 10am to 1pm.Each session costs €2 and support is available for learners.
Mayo Citizens Information Service will hold an outreach on Wed. Dec. 9 th 2009 at The Cosgallen Office, The Enterprise Centre, Airport Road, Charlestown from 9.45am to 11.30am.

Information session on domestic violence
in Ireland will take place in the Abbeyfield Hotel on Fri. 11th Dec. at 1.00pm. All Welcome.
